The Technology Transfer Zentrum (TTZ) was founded in 1987 in Bremerhaven, Germany as an independent non-profit organisation to serve as practical oriented link between the University of Applied Sciences in Bremerhaven and the regional economy. TTZ employs more than 100 high skilled people, distributed in 7 institutes for applied research, covering several fields of expertise: biotechnology, environmental technology, agricultural and water issues, energy and process engineering, bioprocess engineering, food technology and sensory laboratory.
